Lasagna

Ingredients:
500 grams of ground beef 1 onion 1 carrot 300 grams of tomato puree 250 grams of grated cheese 200 ml of water a pack of lasagna sheets (preferably the ones that require pre-cooking for a softer texture) salt/pepper Béchamel Sauce: 100 grams of butter 2 tablespoons of flour 700 ml of milk salt/pepper
Instructions:
Step 1 Finely chop the onion and grate the carrot. Add olive or vegetable oil to a frying pan and sauté them until golden brown. Step 2 Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper to taste, and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes. Step 3 Add the tomato puree and water, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Step 4 Béchamel Sauce: Melt the butter, add the flour, and cook until golden brown, constantly stirring to break up any lumps. Step 5 Separately, heat the milk. Gradually pour the milk into the flour mixture, whisking constantly, until the sauce thickens. Once the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat and season with salt and pepper. Step 6 Cook the lasagna sheets by boiling them in water. Step 7 Grease a baking dish with olive or vegetable oil and layer the ingredients as follows: Béchamel sauce Lasagna sheets Ground beef (half of the mixture) Cheese Lasagna sheets Béchamel sauce Cheese Lasagna sheets Ground beef Cheese Lasagna sheets Béchamel sauce Cheese Step 8 Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for approximately 40-45 minutes.
