Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:
400 grams of ground meat 5 bell peppers 140 grams of rice 2 carrots 1 large onion 100 grams of tomato paste 100 grams of mayonnaise or sour cream salt/pepper
Instructions:
Step 1 Peel and grate the carrots. Peel and finely chop the onion. Step 2 Sauté half of the onion and carrots in olive or vegetable oil. Step 3 Cook the rice until tender. Step 4 Mix the ground meat, rice, and sautéed onions and carrots. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Step 5 Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture. Step 6 Mix the mayonnaise and tomato paste. Step 7 In a deep skillet or pot, add oil, the remaining onion and carrots, and the tomato-mayonnaise sauce. Mix well. Step 8 Place the stuffed bell peppers in the skillet and add water until it reaches approximately halfway up the peppers. Step 9 Simmer over medium heat with the lid on for about 40 minutes.
